Robyn Connelly is dynamic leader with over fifteen years’ experience in stakeholder relations and operationalizing communications and engagement campaigns for various public, private and non-profit organizations. Presently, she is the Director of Community Relations at Toronto Pearson, Canada’s largest airport, where she directs a range of public programming initiatives – from public consultation to community investment – to deepen the airport’s connections with its surrounding communities,

Prior to joining Toronto Pearson, Robyn worked for Metrolinx supporting the UP express expansion project; as a Communications Consultant for both the federal and municipal governments; and as the Public Affairs Officer for the Consulate General of Canada in St. Petersburg, Russia. The common thread running through Robyn’s career has been working for large public spaces and infrastructure programs where broad-reaching community understanding is essential to growth. Robyn uses her experience and capability as a community relations leader and strategic communicator to connect people to information, opportunities and to build lasting partnerships for the good of local Toronto communities and wider society.

Robyn has a BA from the University of Alberta and a Master’s degree from the University of Toronto, and was a CivicAction Diversity Fellow in 2013/2014 cohort. Robyn am also the co-founder of the Best Person Project, a development experience designed to give women starting their careers the tools to navigate the workplace.
